Indonesia is one of the world’s largest archipelagos, and efficient port operations are critical for trade and connectivity. To address this, Impactto and Pelindo (PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Persero), Indonesia’s state-owned port operator, have launched the Pelindo Excube Program an open innovation initiative that focuses on finding innovative solutions, particularly those leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), to tackle real operational challenges in the country’s maritime and port sector.
Through this program, selected innovators will have the opportunity to:
- Develop a funded pilot project and build an MVP
- Collaborate directly with Pelindo’s teams
- Create sustainable impact within Indonesia’s port operations
Innovation in Ports: Excube is Pelindo’s external incubator, and this call focuses on applying AI to improve port operations, logistics, and sustainability.
Funded Pilots: Selected proposals will receive funding to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and run pilot projects directly within Pelindo’s ecosystem.
Collaboration: Innovators will work hand-in-hand with Pelindo’s teams, ensuring solutions are practical and aligned with operational needs.
Impact: The goal is to create sustainable improvements in efficiency, safety, and digital transformation across Indonesia’s ports.
HAKOVO has been selected for the final stage of the Curation and Pitching for "AI Customs Clearance Automation" on 25 November at Pelindo Tower. This offers the Pelindo Group a unique opportunity to strengthen its digital trade infrastructure across ASEAN and Japan.
